Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 8, 2026

TL;DR: Unfollow Snipe runs 100% inside your web browser. Your Instagram ZIP/JSON files are parsed locally on your device. Zero data, username information, or files are ever uploaded or transmitted to any external server.

1. Zero Data Collection

At Unfollow Snipe, we prioritize user privacy above all else. We do not collect, store, track, or sell your Instagram credentials, follower lists, uploaded ZIP/JSON archives, or personal information. All calculations and data processing occur strictly within your web browser's local JavaScript environment.

2. How Your Files Are Processed

When you drop your exported Instagram data files into Unfollow Snipe, your browser reads and parses the JSON structure in memory. The moment you close or refresh the tab, all processed data is completely erased from browser memory. We maintain no database, backend server, or file storage system.

3. Third-Party Services & Cookies

Unfollow Snipe utilizes trusted third-party providers for static hosting and advertisement serving:

4. Compliance with GDPR & CCPA

Because Unfollow Snipe never stores, collects, or transmits personal data to external servers, the service natively satisfies the requirements of the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). There is no user profile or data repository stored on our end to request, modify, or delete.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to maintain compliance with ad network requirements or web standards. Any revisions will be reflected immediately on this page with an updated "Effective Date."
